Inching forward
It's been a busy week! We've had meetings with two banks, with the owners of the plot, and someone who might want to buy a plot off us. And all the meetings were fairly productive.
No deal with the owners yet, but they did say they are willing to do a deal with us if we can agree on a price and the most efficient mechanism for the sale/purchase. So we've agreed to meet again in 10 days or so when we'll all have done some more research on what we can really afford!
Meantime, to prove there is more to life than plot searching (well, almost!) we've had a great Easter doing other things. For the first time since we got married we've not visited family or had visitors over the Bank Holiday weekend. Instead we went for a nice walk with friends on Good Friday and walked in the Forest of Dean on Monday. Also managed to fit in (amongst other things), trying to repair a puncture on my bike, a few lie-ins, a meal out at our favourite Tapas place, a walk around Almondsbury and a few hours playing Uru (again).
