Progress?

Things have changed! We've met with the lady who owns the land (plus her daughter) and have just sent her a letter confirming how much we are prepared to pay for it. Scary or what, especially when you consider the sums involved, which we had to consider for quite some time before finishing the letter.

We've also taken our prospective Architect to look at the site so that he is ready to start work as soon as we get agreement with the vendor.

All we need now is for the owner (plus her son & daughter) to agree to sell the land to us! Oh, yes, mustn't forget that we also need several buyers for the 'spare' plots that we need to sell off in order to finance the whole thing. So if you're a self-builder in the Bristol area in need of a plot let me know!

Off to Padstow this weekend with friends so we can switch off from work and thinking about land/houses etc for a few days. Should be good...
